Trip to Grand Canyon du Verdon, the biggest canyon in Europe. Roads over there are pretty much deserted outside the tourist season, but they are really made for motorcyclists. The scenery is simply breathtaking.
If you're going for the ride over there, you should take some things seriously:
1. The weather. High altitudes can be full of surprises. Full sunshine can turn into a falling rain in half an hour. Even in summer!
2. Falling rocks. Not kidding, really, big blocks of rock can be waiting just for you around any corner, so take care! This is especially true during the autumn and winter when there's a big difference in day/night temperature and when there's practically no other traffic. Also, after a heavy rain you can be sure that the road is dangerous.
So take it easy, relax and enjoy the scenery. I hope you like the pics.
