Hunting the bugs
100 km evening ride up in the hills at the time of the sunset. Results: everything covered by dead bugs. Visor, jacket, gloves, windscreen, front fork, headlight, everything. Luckily no wasps today though.

Cold day in June
Hardly 20 °C and dark clouds hanging low just above our house. I also had a slight hangover - too much wine and too many digestives yesterday evening - so it was a perfect day for finishing the paintwork inside (pending work for a month or so).
Painting took me almost the whole day, but when the work was finally done, the evening weather looked quite good for riding and some photography experiments, so I started the Breva and had a quick ride to Cannes and back to home. In the meantime missus had came back from shopping and brought some blocks of salmon with her, so I quickly lightened the barbeque up and did my best with it. Grilled salmon after an evening ride - what could be better?! Hope you like the pics.

75000 page views reached in few days
It seems that this blog is reaching 75000 page views within next 24 hours, as the current count is 74660 and the current page-views-per-day count is 765. Busiest month so far consumed almost 6 megabytes of bandwidth, exceeding my monthly allotment by 1 MB. Not bad for a non-commercial site, non? The image shows how the page views are divided between the blog itself and the photoalbums - Guzzi Factory Album being the hit number 1!
BTW, I'd appreciate if some of the readers could tell me few words about the site's response times, the experienced speed/slowness around the globe. Would you, please?!

Hiking in the mountains
This morning I filled my back-pack with water bottles, hiking boots and camera, then stuffed them into the Breva's top-box and headed to the mountains. It turned out that the path I had selected from the map did not provide that great scenery, but otherwise it was a nice trip. Hiking is absolutely my favorite way of exercising for fitness, but never before have I used Breva as a transport to go hiking - brilliant combination! Suppose I'll be repeating this whenever I have the opportunity - yet it's quite rare that I go hiking alone.
